Carl Dooley, Lonestar And Associates, Dooley Productions Laid me off and kept my pay Grand Prairie Texas

I worked for Carl Dooley for about a week. I was doing telemarketing work trying to sell Kirby Vaccuum Cleaners. Well, He told us we weren't selling them. We were actually 'setting appointments' for the other employees to go and clean one room of these people's houses for free and then try to sell it to them.

I had only ever worked at a grocery store (I'm 17 years old) so I was excited that I was getting to do a job most people my age don't get to. I read the ad in the paper and it said I would get paid 8 dollars an hour to call people from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. So I went for an interview and they told me to come in that same night and start working. I slowly started realizing that it was a scam when we were supposedly giving out free 1,000 dollar shopping sprees on amazon.com if you agreed to listen to the speech.

When I finally got to look at one of these certificates it said 'not valid in the US' I was laid off a couple days later (My 7th day working there). Carl didn't have the guts to do it himself so he had one of my co-workers do it. They won't answer my calls and they haven't sent my last check which I was supposed to get a week later...it's been 4 months.
