Carleton Sheets, Aka Professional Education Institute ripoff, fraudulent billing, dishonest business practices, SCAM Wooddale Illinois

Carleton Sheets, aka The Professional Education Institute must be investigated! They have continually and repeatedly put forth fraudulent charges on my credit/debit card for a Training Program that proved to be useless and was returned, exactly per their instruction.

I have gone 'round and 'round with them, for several months over recurring charges for items which were part of a 30 day trial and returned, at considerable extra expense, by FedEx and signed for as having been received within the time and manner specified. they initially claimed that it was a 'simple book keeping error' and that the billing department didn't know the materials had been returned. It took over 3 weeks to have the funds credited back to my account, causing several legitimate checks to bounce. They refused to pay for the NSF charges. Finally, the account was closed.

Now, a month later, they have charged my acccount again! This time they claim that the return was incomplete. They admitted to the errror and promised to credit me back within 5 days - again - but it still caused another check to bounce, cost me $30 NSF fee, and now to further protect myself from future charges I have to close my checking account, wait 10 days for new cards, etc., and notify all of my direct deposit / debit accounts of the new info.

I'm not the first victim of these crooks, nor will I be the last unless the Feds shut this guy down! He should be jailed and publicly exposed for the scam artist he truly is, and both he and PEI should be held accountable and have to pay reparations to all those they have defrauded over the past 20 years.
