I would like to ask you help in a simple matter that can be fixed with a phone call!
 We booked on carnival Dream for September 1st.
We wanted to go to Belize to scuba dive the turnoff Atoll.
The problem now is that we saw the following advert

We went to book the excursion but it was not showing when you go to plan activates?
 
I called the carnival web support desk and they said it had been canceled. I could not believe it the reason
We booked this cruise was to scuba dive the Turniff Atoll. I had been to Belize years ago and was now trying to take my wife
Diving at Turniff , it is such a beautiful area to see. We were 51 days out before the ship leaves port in Florida.
I am very upset that the cruise line doesn't seem to have a backup tour operator to do the excursion to Turniff Atoll.
 
We would not have booked this cruise dates if we had known that that tour had been canceled.
I then tried to complain about this through carnivals phone system, I was put on hold three times
For 45 minutes each time. THE Third time after being on hold for 45 minutes they just disconnected the call.
I then filled in the so called complaint email form that was on the carnival web site and that to was returned as undelivered!
 
Please can someone at carnival help make a customer happy and get a tour operator to take us to Turniff Atoll diving/snorkeling?

Carnival's shore excursions are independently owned and operated. As stated on this section, not all tours are available for every ship and sail date and rates are subject to change without prior notice. It is regretful that we are unable provide each shore excursion desired on all of our departures. We do not have another tour operator available for the tour you are requesting on your ship and sail date. Guests do have the option to book shore excursions independently, and are not required to make the reservations through us. However, we do not keep in contact with other tour operators, and we would not be aware of any delays in the return of guests on an independently operated shore excursions.

You always have the choice of booking an independent shore excursion. Actually what I would have done if diving was the major interest in the cruise was skip the cruise and fly down there to dive. In any event you can always look on line and arrange something with a company for the day that you are there.

 What Bobby is saying is that he is a founding member in good standing fro Team Rebutt, it is his duty to rebutt all day long and night if he has to. How sad.

That you booked an entire cruise based on ONE excursion? 

Are you really saying that you want to pay the extreme markup of a cruise line excursion instead of booking it on your own?  If so that is the true RipOff.

Every cruise line reserves the right to cancel or change excursions.  I have taken a few cruises and have only once booked an excursion through the cruise line.  As long as you book with a reputable company and schedule it appropriately you won't have any issues getting back on the ship in plenty of time.   You may even find a better company than the Cruise Line comes up with because you are a true customer not just some "hick" cruise ship passenger they are getting paid a volume rate for.
