Well I see by reading all the ripoff reports that the thief privette is still in business. My wife and I are semi-retired. We saved for thirty years for this event. We had put aside enough money for a bedroom set and ordered it from carolina furniture and the rest of the story is the same as everyone else.

We have filed a complaint with the North Carolina Department of Justice. This thief privette was convicted in South Carolina for fraud. He was allowed to plead guilty and required to make restitution and not allowed to sell furniture in S. Carolina.So this theif is allowed to move his buisness to N. Carolina and continue to swindle people out of their money. The thief privette lives in Mrytle Beach.

He has numerous companies listed under different names. What does not make sense about this whole scam is how in the world he is still allowed to do business. Maybe some one out there has an opinion on the possibilty that the state's of North and South Carolina are libel. They know privette was running a scam and they continue to let this weasel cheat people. Why!!!! And the old adage of "let the buyer beware" is not an excuse!!! Some how there seems to be grounds for a class action suit against someone or more than one. Lets hear from some legal eagle's
