Carolina Furniture Fraudulent rip-off business check only deposit NO DELIVERY & no response to calls High Point North Carolina

I got ripped off by this company too. I ordered an entertainment center in Nov. 2002. "Randy" took my order, was very pleasant and gave incredible price quotes. I've ordered from internet companies before and never had a problem, so I was very trusting. DON'T LET THIS GUY GET YOU TOO!

They require a check for the deposit of 50%. For me that was $417.50. Then they tell you it will be 16-18 weeks for delivery. That way the check has long been cleared when you realize you won't get your furniture. I started calling at 16 weeks. It has now been 21 weeks. They don't answer the calls, instead you leave a message.

At first they didn't return my calls. Then they did and told me my order was in and would be delivered that weekend or the next. Both have passed. They never called to schedule delivery -- instead they sent a letter asking for my patience and cooperation!!!! I've called again but nothing. Well, now I see the owner is being investigated for fraud and has done this many, many times.

I've filed a complaint with the NC Attorney General. I will never order online again without investigating the company.
