Carolina West Wireless, Skybest Carolina West does not live up to the contract you sign with them! Wilkesboro North Carolina

I purchased cellular telephone service through Carolina West Wireless, which included a bundled package. I was to receive and unlimited photo and text messaging besides other features.

The first month, I was given a bill twice my expected fee, which they stated was a pro-rated fee for signing up. I accepted this and paid the fee.

This past month, my bill was over $170 the flat rate I signed up for. They stated I was being charged for "Brew" services that allows me to access the internet. I explained to them that I have not accessed the internet. Furthermore, until five days ago the internet was blocked on my cell phone.

The very rude customer support representative told me she would discount the charges, but any additional charges would be charged to me. I once more explained to her that I have never utilized the internet service; however, I have used picture messaging which requires I use the internet. I asked her to review my history and find out where the internet was being used and by what phone. She refused to do this.

Carolina West offered me Free Picture Messaging! However, they are charging me for being on the internet when I do a picture text. I explained this to the customer support, and they stated that they had no way of knowing if I was on the internet or if I was picture messaging, and they would charge me regardless.

This is why I am saying that Carolina West is a Rip-Off in the truest sense! People, beware of northwestern North Carolina Counties that have this business! They offer faulty contracts that will get you into financial ruin without even an apology! I am being charged for internet use even when it had been blocked from my cell phone the previous month!

The supervisor was not available, but was willing to speak to one of his associates to relay a message to me. He stated that he would fix the problem if he found they were in error. However, he could not explain to me why the charges were there in the first place. Also, it is NOT Fair that I am required to drive to Carolina West each month and explain this situation over and over again. It eats up my time and resources. And, they do not even apologize. It is a bad company with poor customer relations.

The only reason they are successful is because in the mountains, they own almost all the towers, and do not allow other companies to use their towers, other than AT&T and possibly a couple of others. People, BEWARE! Carolina West will Pick Your Pocket and leave you no choice but to turn in your phone and suffer the hit to your credit for leaving the contract!
