Cars Collision Center shoddy collision repair service Orland Park Illinois

Please understand my car is my baby its a late 90's model but in great shape and has never been in a crash before. My insurance company recommended Cars Collision Center for repairs because it was a "Pro-Shop". They said the repair, which was very minor would take 5 days.

On there web page they have "Guaranteed Completion Dates" in there services section. I figured great! Less out of protect rental fee's for me.

Long story short, 10 days later I pick up my car a little upset.

For my inspection of the vehicle they didn't even bother to wipe off the snow so I could see the repairs, Which boggled my mind because they had a huge heated indoor repair center. I had to do it myself while the check out person just stood there.

During my repair inspections I found masking paint from the repair under the front lights. My clear plastic lic plate cover was missing. My fuse box cover from the inside of the vehicle was missing. The spare tire cover was on the backseat inside the vehicle. And last but not least the gaps between the bumper and the hood and fender flares looked way off compared to the side with no damage. Cars Collision response "I'm sorry" "I'm sorry" "I'm sorry". I should have never signed the inspection sheet but I just wanted my car back!
As for the lic plate cover and fuse box cover, they said they don't know what happened to them and they would order them that day and call me when they are in. As for the "Guaranteed" completion dates" No one could answer what happens when they don't make that date. I called 3 different cars collision centers to see what they would do if they don't make the "Guaranteed" date and guess what no one had an answer.

As of 01-20-05 If have some major problems with cars collision shoddy service.
