Carsdirect.com Waste of time Internet

Their service is a waste of time... they assure you they will either use local dealer or allow you to deal with one of their specialists and even deliver the vehicle to your door, closing at your place of residence. Which is a good option if true since most states have a set of consumer protections that relate to sales in one's home.

But my wrath here is their service is bogus. Their local dealer will not deal with me.. will not contact me.

Thus Cardirect's "guaranteed" pricing appears to not be honored. There is only one dealer for the make I was seeking and they already have a lousy reputation so I would prefer to deal with a third party.

Maybe in other markets the service works.. but not here in NM.

irony... the car sales are down and one would think dealers would be anxious to do the right thing, be attentive to the buyer.. be honest and forthright... but they aren't... it's all about them... thus, I have no sympathy for their demise. Far too long they have clung to a business model that is based on "for every customer we lose we get 5 new ones" that was and is the philosophy of America's big three... it doesn't work and they still cling to it. Go figure...

Like the famous quotation of that famous NY socialite: You can lead a w***e to culture but you can't make 'em think"

("w***e" is an appropriate label; as whores screw customers for money. In my case they lost a sale).
