I'm also an Oil & Gas operator in the IL Basin. We have some overseas  investors and in 2011 we planned to use leads to attract capital for oil exploration. Mr Carson Jones called late summer of 2011 with the same story: His step father had passed away and Neptune Energy clients were therefore available as potential investors. CJ gave four names to call claiming they were "happy" Neptune nvestors: Three TX and one in AR. We called these guys and got very good response. The guy in AR recently claimed he never heard of Neptune Energy. We suspect these were collaborators since we couldn't even get hold of them after we purchased the leads for $3,000 from CJ in September of 2011. We will investigate this further. we have all their names and some email addresses. The leads were useless and probably came from another industry. CJ claimed he used to be a broker and is now in the restaurant business.. He probably copied and stole an old lead list, came up with the Neptune story and started to call Oil & Gas companies to make some extra money. The story was pretty good and hard to check. When confronted, he blows up and start calling ****** names. He claims his new business does not require any good reputation. So integrity means nothing for a person like this. We continue to assign resources to stop these type of guys and we'll find the guy and expect to be paid back in one way or another. Watch out for Carson Jones!
