carsponsors.com used fraud saying your card is used / will be used for identification purposes only Ft. Myers Florida

On or about the 30th of December 2007 a web site add from myspace similair to pimp-my-ride (that I inquired about or saw a few days or weeks earlier) had an add that stated in so many words "we will sponsor your car" at carsponsors.com.

All of the sites sponsors seemed ligit.

I started to fill out the application explaining my situation of conditions and that my car (a 1992 Tiara Econoline van) had issues too. That the steering went out in front of the YMCA and I had to get it towed home recently. And a week or two prior to the steering problem, the engine light came on and I had to take it to the dealer and had to get the van towed from the Pa Turnpike between Pittsburgh and home about 20 miles for the tow.

Also the car (van) was having brake problems and the back brakes were out a week or so ago too (at that time in November / December 2007). And that the front brakes also just went out as I triesd to get the car (van) into my garage in mid December of 2007. I also explained in writing that I have health and injury issues and THOUGHT THIS COMPANY WAS LIKE PIMP-MY-RIDE and they would based on my story, which is ligit, they may consider me.

Well I was considered all right. Thinking the name sounded better than "PIMP-MY-RIDE I started to fill out the online information because it said "YOU are accepted". They asked for pictures and nothing was ever read about any charges future, past or present to a card number that is / was to be used for identification purposes ONLY.

To me it seemed ligit, I saw a few photos of cars and my car (van) needed everything a complete makeover, for my van was in order. I read they found sponsors. (which they will find for eveybody and anybody hindsight now reveals) This is not a come pick up your car like you see on the TV Show Pimp-My-Ride.

I stopped filling out the application when it stated YOU MUST ATTEND 5 or 6 car shows a year. Due to my conditions that would not be feasible and I discontinued the application processes.

They have a hidden clause or something that you read after they suck you in. They never posted a impending money debit or charge to your card they say that they do but they do not! The scam: THAT YOUR CARD WAS NOT USED FOR IDENTIFICATION PURPOSES ! YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF ! YOU GOT SUCKERED INTO A $149.00 SCAM THAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT AND WE GOT YOUR MONEY AND WE WILL SAY YOU READ WE WERE GOING TO CHARGE YOUR CARD. They never had any charge mentioned ANYWHERE!

Again I read nowhere about any charge, and the www.carsponsors.com specifically stated that the card was to be used for identification purposes only. That you are who you say you are!
