On July 27, 2006, I sent a $20 check to Carter, Hammond and Pierce. It was to cover a delivery from an authorized government courier.
The worksheet sent to me clearly states "The package...will be delivered within 72 hours..." After I paid the delivery charge, no big delivery ever came.
On the back of the worksheet it clearly states "If respondent is dissatisfied at any time within 30 days of receipt of their compendium, a full refund will be made when requested." Of course I sent letters asking for my money back. Never saw it.
I continue to receive mailings from this same scam, even after I've returned them with "Remove my name from your list" next to my name.
