Cash America Advance America I went online to apply for a PayDay Loan and later received a call back from (Kevin) informing me that I had been approved for a loan up to $5000. Kevin asked what was the purpose of the loan and I informed him that it was for my son's college tuition. I requested a loan for 2000 and was told that I needed to verify my first payment through Money Pack. I was told that the loan amount plus my the $200 would be wired to my account within 30 minutes. After 1 hour, I checked my account and there were no funds. I called back and was informed by Kevin that there was a "hold" due to my poor credit score and therefore my payment would have to be increased. I purchased another money pack and he informed me that the hold was released and I would receive the money by morning. Its been 2 days and no funds have been deposited in my account. In addition, the Money Pack cards have a balance of $0. New York New York

I request a Pay Day Loan and received a call back from Cash America informing me that I had been approved for up to $5000. I chose $2000 and was told that I needed to submit my first payment through money pack. I purchased the card and was informed that the card amount plus my loan amount would be deposited into my bank. The representative, "Kevin" also stated that once the loan was paid I wouldn't have to go through this process because I would be a repeat customer if I needed additional funds. I was later told that they money would be deposited within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, there were no funds and I called back, only to find that there was a "hold" on the funds due to my low credit score. I was told that my amount would need to be higher based on my credit score. I sent the differnce of the requested payment again through money pack. The funds nor the amount of the money pack cards have been deposited. I check the balance of the money pack card and it was $0.

Get a payday loan period - unfortunately you got taken by a scammer. These are predatory loans with interest rates above 300%. Your money is gone and in the future just learn to budget. I am sorry you got scammed.
