Speaking from experience, I would like to warn people about using Cash Call. The interest rate is 99%. You do not get to see the rate when applying online until the very end. I have seen recently, many people stating this. I thought I was just too gung h*o when applying for the loan and simply missed it in the beginning. Granted this is our fault for not reading everything, but it is true that you kind of get rushed along. When you see the monthly payment is only about $200 a month, you think to yourself, "That is not bad." What you don't realize is that you will be paying this loan off many times over.

I got the loan to help with moving expenses. We did not move and we started pinching off the money and then I let my husband use the rest for car repair expenses. Well, one year later I am paying off the $2600 loan and my payoff is $2700. Thank God I am able to pay it off. A year of paying $218.00 month and I am still in the hole. What's worse, I was never late but because I did not pay on the first of the month they called me everyday 4 or 5 times a day. Even when I told them I would be paying on Friday (for example) they would still call 3 or 4 times just to make sure I am still paying on that day. Can you imagine how much they would call if you were actually late? It is a nightmare loan.

Please Don't Do It. Pass the word to everyone you know. Cash Call will suck you dry and if you don't pay ... A Credit report nightmare! They do report. The only good thing is that they report a good history too. Again I repeat. "Do Not Use Cash Call!!!"

They are not interest only loans.

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

""People who do not understand the math do not realize that if they do not pay more than the minimum required monthly payments they they are essentially paying an interest-only loan and thus they are not paying off any of the principal.""

Incorrect. On several occassions I have checked the rates on the CC website and the payments they advertise DO WORK OUT with an amortizing calculator.

You can verify it yourself Wilson by going to bankrate dot com and using one of their online calculators.

The problem most folks have is when they are LATE or MISS a payment, then it's the march of the fees, and with an interest rate of 90 something percent a missed payment really sets you back quite a bit.

Cash Calls minimum payments on their Rates page only cover the interests.

AUTHOR: Wilson - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 18, 2008

People always complain about Cash Call. I am not defending the interest rates or the harassing telephone calls by any means, but Cash Call's interest rates and Terms and Conditions are posted on their website. Cash Call customers are not forced to complete the CC loan application. People who do not understand the math do not realize that if they do not pay more than the minimum required monthly payments they they are essentially paying an interest-only loan and thus they are not paying off any of the principal.

Rates Link

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 15, 2008

On their website home page is a link identified as "Rates." This link gives you the interest rates for California. You may use a pulldown menu to see the interest rates for any state inwhich Cash Call grants loans. The rates are available WITHOUT applying for a loan.

Also, something isn't right about this. A $2525 loan with a $75 processing fee, at 99.25% for 42 months with 12 payments made ON TIME would leave a payoff of approximately $2376.

Their 99.25% interest rate is absurd. NO ONE should be taking these types of loans whatsover.
