Hi,
Can you guys give me an update as to what happened when you faxed the letter to stop the "wage assignment"? I am in the same boat and want to do the right thing but they will not take any payment arrangements. Did the collection company work with you? Thanks very much!

This is the same company as Sonic Payday. Don't pay them a thing and they will go away. Did you sign an wage assignment? Immediately fax a letter rescinding it; it's voluntary. They tried to use their wage assingment with me but my payroll dept. would not honor it because it isn't a court order. I've read that some payroll depts. do honor their wage assignment. I tried to make payment arrangements and they refused. They will call, yell, threaten and harrass you. Don't send them a dime and don't let them intimidate you.
Fax them a letter stating:
Upon the advice of my attorney I do hereby revoke the wage assignment you have from me. Also upon the advice of my attorney I am requesting any and all documentation pertaining to this loan.
Trust me, they will go away.
