In November of 2004 I requested a loan from CashCall to consolidate my bills. Sure, the customer service rep I spoke to was very kind and helped me alot because he knew I was going to be paying back alot of money, but after everything was said and done I realized what a horrible mistake I had made. I have an interest rate of 39% on a $10,000 loan. I have been paying for almost 3 years and I have barely seen my principal amount drop to $9,500.
I also have fallen behind on 2 payments due to the fact that I was on maternity leave and was not paid by my company. I have tried to explain my situation to CashCall but they don't want to hear it. My file has been handed off to so many different people that I don't even know who I should take to anymore. The last person I spoke with was very mean and rude. He called me at work and told me that I needed to pay now or else I would be sent to court, when I tried to explain to him that I would not have the money for 2 more days he told me that I better borrow it from someone or let him speak to my boss.
They call my home and cell phone all day from 8am-8pm. They call me at my place of work after I specifically told them not to. I am a receptionist and can not receive personal calls at work. They are jeopardizing my job and my means to live. They make promises to help me if I just give them one more payment. CashCall is just a loan shark that enjoys harassing its customers.

Call the Federal Trade Commission is very easy the process takes no more than 15 minutes or do the report online. I reported CashCall Inc. because I lost my job and I called all my creditors, but cashcall inc. was the only company that would not work with me. I too received the calls several times a day. FTC said that they need more people to call them so they can investigate.
