Castforce is a company that needs to be investigated by the BBB and I think a class action lawsuit needs to be opened. This company assigns you work and then doesn't want to pay you for your services, the amount of pay for the work to be done is ridiculous and they will not pay you for mileage. I worked on a project for the at the end of 2012, I submitted all of my pictures and reports that they require you to submit, then 3 weeks later, with only 4 or 5 days left for my pay, they all of sudden coming up with excuses about my work. I completed everything that I was supposed to, but yet they did their best to prevent me from getting paid, they actually wanted me to go back to all of these stores, and redo stuff that due to them screwing up, I would have to again waist my gas and time and not be compensated for my time. I did not get paid and ended up losing $234.00, due to them not paying me. If I can sue them for the money and time lost, and if I could get other people who were ripped off from castforce, to get involved, I would love to start a class action lawsuit. This company should be investigated heavily and if need be they should be put out of business.

I was hired by this company to do merchandising work and was proud to do it, but this company has had issues with other contractors in which I have had their back and they had mine, but now think I defrauded them in which its the reverse when they paid me every month and now saying I owe them money and take near $4100.00 out of my checking account in which I worked hard for. This company is struggling and desparate for answers because when you call me supercontractor Tom and use me and abuse me and my car there because a liability to this. Yes, its true I wanted the work, but thats because I wanted to help out to make this company better. But, I feel like I have been bullied into a work overload from contracting because they would ask for way too much work at times to be done. The force to quit goes under a constructive discharge issue over something simple. DO THE RIGHT THING AND PAY OUT. Contractors make mistakes and yes they have a QC dept but they don't like me because I was successful at this work and Seretta just wanted to find someway in desperation to get me into trouble traveling into a snowstorm when I have all worksheets, pictures and so forth. (The Giant Eagle project was the most messed up project I have been involved in.) There stores were Giant Eagle and Giant Eagle Getgo in which all address were not clarified even to GPS. So, I went to the store locations and ask each manager for verification and now called a liar in which I drover miles for this company. The CEO is a back stabbing liar and so is the director of support because I feel truly betrayed as in not getting my pay in which has forced me to quit and file numerous complaints in which are the truth.

Castforce does have flaws but they are working on them. They just got direct deposit. They have work always available but pick it up quickly.

I agree with the person on the last statement. I do not like to be sent back to stores but what the heck, if you want paid then go do it! Its not a court of law that makes the decision on this. Its you, so think about what stores you sign up for period. You have to look at specifications closely period! I'm a supercontractor for this company, there are ups and downs period. I enjoy talking to their staff, but there are days I do not when having a bad day.  People wanna complain but never a good reason unless you understand what the company is about. Trust me, you will get paid but you have to do the project to perfection, so client doesn't come screaming at them!

Misguided Information

AUTHOR: Tylonn - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 19, 2013

I do not mean or intend to be rude or disrespectful concerning your situation. I think that you may have been misguided by the fine print we all have to read and most of the time do not. I have been with castforce since 2010 and I have yet to experience what most of those have experienced thus far. In your situation it is very clear in the fine print that if the project is not done a 100% it will not be paid at least until it is 100%.

Castforce like any other company is this type of industry is not paid from their client until they can review and verify the project completion, so in essence they could not pay you for something they were not themselves going to be paid for. I have been doing retail merchandising since 2001 and I would consider myself and expert in this industry however, I too had to go back and correct work that was not done 100% to be paid on time and in one case the next billing period.

I am not taking up for them technically, I am just saying that cases like these are normally our own fault as every company that hires Independent Contractors for project like castforce has the same if not tougher stipulations to be paid.
Taking 3 weeks to audit a completed project is not uncommon and has to be planned for. When you have over 20,000 contractors and thousands of projects to audit things do get lost in translation, if you recall our government lost 10
billion in actual cash in its budgeted war against Al Qaeda so I think your situation although serious can be answered more simply by the information you gave in your report.

As far as suing them that is not possible based on the fact that you had been given an opportunity to correct the mistakes that were preventing you from being paid and neglected not to do so for your own personal reasons which would not stand in any court of law.

I hope you continue to work in this industry as it is a great and profitable industry but you must read and clearly understand what is being asked of you and vice versa. Also you are the contractor so you control all the work you except from any company and can ignore the work you do not want again from any company. As a contractor you are running your own business and has to act and respond as such.

I hope your situation gets resolved to your liking as I do feel there is a chance to correct this particular complaint.
