Castle Credit Corporation ripoff for Miltary Personal Chicago Illinois

Me and a freind was stastioned at Jacksonville NC. We where out for the weekend and was a approached by a young lady giving out free passes for pizza's. Wow we thouhgt we were getting free pizza we headed over to pick up the pizza's, but when we got there there was no pizza just a office and a guy standing out front.

I told me freind this is not it, this is not a pizza place. The guy greets us and tell us he has some great deals to show us and then he will send us to our pizza. One guy takes my freind in a office and the other takes me into a office. He starts talking to me about a great camera and film deal he has for me. I keep talling him I was not interested. He keep on showing me anyway, And then I became interested. It sounded like a great deal for my family and me.

After for being in there hearing his promoting ads, I agree to the deal, A free camera, and a coupon book for the film. This was susposed to be a life time deal for $1,598.00.

Well a month or two go bye and I get a bill from Castle Credit Corp. saying I owe them $97.28. I didn't know what the bill was for so I called them, and them and they said That Castle Credit bought the contract from Photo World. In that process they charged me a $250.00 Finance charge with a 18% APR So now the Total was $1848.32.

I thought ok not to bad for a lifetime of pictures. Well a month or two go bye and I still have not received my camera or book. So I call them and they say I have received it. I tell them that i have not recieved it. So it turns out the the camrea was ship to a TN address, But my home address is NC. Castle Credit tell me it's not there problem that I have to contact Photo World. I receved the same form them. So I get the # to where the camrea was shiped and they agreed to send it to me. But it has been 2 yrs now and still no camrea. I have notified Castle Credit and they still say it was not there problem. Even tho I have still made payments.

Now on June 4th 2004 I will no longer make payments to Castle Credit Corporation. BASED ON THE (BBB) BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU THIS COMPANY HAS A UNSATISFACTORY RECORD WITH THE BUREAU DUE TO UNANSWERED COMPLANIT(S)
