On June of 2017 I purchased an exotic shorthair kitten from Mr. Karimov residing in Manorville N.Y.  He is the owner of Catsanddogsus.  When I brought the kitten home, he appeared to be distressed.  I noticed he was sneezing a lot, and had a lot of mucus coming out of his nose.  He was also scratching his ears.  I took him to a vet, where he was examined.  The vet said he had an upper respiratory infection, he was running a fever, and he was suffering from ear mites.  Medication was given, and I was told to return him in two weeks to see how he was doing.  In months to follow, the kitten received check-ups and vaccinations including the rabies shot.  In October of 2017, I told the vet to do a complete blood culture; my reason for this was my wife is in remission from Leukemia (Cancer of the blood).  I was concerned the kitten might make her ill.  My wife’s immune system is not like a normal persons, her health is compromised.  It turns out that the kitten was exposed to feline infectious peritonitis with a titer of 1:12800.  I was told there is no cure for FIP.  I made several phone calls, and wrote a note regarding this issue.  I sent Mr. Karimov the blood work and a letter from the vet.  His response was the cat is not ill and quoted things about cats and diseases.  Mr.Karimov couldn’t understand why I didn’t want to keep the kitten, couldn’t he understand my wife’s health comes first.  He showed no sympathy and no compassion.  Who is he to jeopardize the health of a human being? I think his policy sucks.  I was well into my 180 day warranty to return the kitten, but he doesn’t want to give my money back.  I didn’t even get my money back for the vet bills that came over $450.00.  I don’t understand how these cats and dogs he sells don’t have a clean bill of health? How are they coming into the U.S?  His website is a rip off and I will pursue this matter further.
