Here are some possible scenarios. You said cavalry sued you on a debt that was over ten years old?? Well your from Washington and the statue of Limitations for litigation in your state is 6 years. So let's say your account was opened in 1999, and the statue for litigation went out in 2005. If no action has been filed before the 6 years is up then we can NOT pursue on that account UNLESS-----you make a payment. Now if you make a payment at anytime even if its for $ 5.00 after the SOL is up, guess what? It starts all over AGAIN.
