CB VACATIONS Vicki Burrs false advertisement Ocean City MD

We rented Unit 1 in Highpoint South, Ocean City for our family vacation.  We rented this unit based on this beautiful photos on your website.  The below list is what we found when we got there

§  Cleaning people had to return upon our arrival because the unit was not properly cleaned the first time.

§  Odor in Refrigerator- smells like something died in it (even the cleaning people stated they wouldn’t eat of out it)

§  Toilet seat broken (bedroom)

§  Toilet tank broken (off kitchen)

§  The baseboard in the bathroom is filthy.

§  Air conditioner in bedroom is falling apart on the inside of the room and completely rusted on the outside.

§  Upon arrival patio furniture on both decks broken and when they were replaced 3 days after we got here, the furniture was only placed on the downstairs patio and it was filthy.

§  Twin bed broken 

§  Dust in bedroom was an inch thick on the walls. 

I was informed that I had to take time out of my carefully planned vacation to pick up light bulbs from your office because there were none available on site. The upstairs Bathroom had 5 light bulbs out but there were none available. I was unable to pick them up and was told that my agent would deliver them personally. They were delivered today. 2 days later! and not by the agent.

The best part according to the rules- we are expected to fold the bedding on the beds and I refused to do this because the pillowcases had blood stains on them! I refuse to touch them and shouldn’t have to. 

This unit is despicable, it’s beyond run down and old and shame on the owner(s) for taking advantage of hard working people who want to have a nice, modern unit during their vacation. The owner should be ashamed to rent this dump to anyone, let alone call it a penthouse.

Once we contacted Vicki on the above issues she preceeded to offer us 100 plus her 8% commission on a rental for next year.  We told her we would never rent from her again.  This is twice we used them in Ocean City, MD. and both places were old disgusting dumps.
