Hello to all,

We recieved a credit card and letter stating that we have a $6500.00 credit limit, available immediately by activating via same telephone number on letterhead as is on the sticker attached to the card. Card reads "First National Card". When calling the 1-800 telephone number to Close the account the only voice message options were to "activate press #" or "End the call". There is no other way to otherwise contact someone from CCA services to close the account. The card itself appears authentic with name and exp. date, etc. Despite the hideous mailing envelope this arrived in, we (my husband and I), decided not to activate this. Instead, we thought it best to report this to our local government authorities, since this matter requires further investigation. We did not consent or apply for any such credit card/membership. This "entity" must think that people are basically stupid and that we should do whatever their letter instructs us to do. If we all did that, no doubt we would be in the Poor House!
Better to report anything suspicious that is mailed to you and the proper authorities will direct you further. No bills or other correspondence has been recieved as of yet, if it does we know what to do with it. Like the old saying goes, if it walks like a duck, it must be a duck! It is time to get "The Quacks"
out of our postal service system because THEY are crowding our mailboxes with stuff nobody wants or needs.
