About 3 months ago, a young guy came to my door selling magazine subscriptions. He said he was selling them for school and he could earn points to win a trip to Florida or California. He was very polite and talkative.
I ended up buying ESPN magazine for a total of $55.00. I filled out the receipt with my name,address,phone number, and email address and gave him a check. He told me I would receive the magazine in about 4-8 weeks. I still haven't recieved it.
I now realize that I'm out the $55.00!! I tried doing something nice and end up getting "burned" in the end. Don't fall for this like I did. My aunt also had the same thing happen to her just a few days ago. The nerve of these people!! Call the police and have them reported. This is the only way to stop them.
