I noticed a charge of $39.95 per month on my elderly retired mom's Bank of America checking account for the past 16 months - A total of $639.20.
Bank of America is constantly calling my mom to sell her products and is always talked into these things. Very deceptive as she has "Do not call" but of course her own bank can call her. She does not remember committing to this home warranty program and never recieved any contracts or information via mail.
We went down to the local BOA to ask about this monthly ACH debit and the BOA employee made a call based on the last bank statement (phone # was hidden in the ID codes) and said "Oh, its one of our companies." My mom cancelled via phone conversation but we do not believe she will get her money back. She is also cancelling all her BOA accounts.

Bank Of America - Deceptive phone Marketing for CCHS - Total Protect Home Warranty

I want to emphasis that this is a BOA - Bank of America deceptive phone marketing program. They hide behind a semi-legitimate home warranty sales company. They have full access to setting up access to your bank account and make it difficult to identify on the bank statement. Then the CCHS - Total Protect home warranty company starts pulling out monthly money. They do not provide any paperwork or ID to be able to use their service. I went online to Total protect to make a "claim" and they could not identify any account via the Total protect system. Total bogus rip-off from BOA.
