CCI Camera City ripoff Brooklyn New York

I bought a Canon Elan 7n camera kit from this company. It's not labelled as an "international" or gray-market item. I called a local camera shop here in New Mexico and found out that Canon's are made in Japan, China, Thailand and Korea. The one they sold me was made in Taiwan. Based on what i've read this means that no camera repair center in my area will even TOUCH my camera if it needs anything. So basically my warrentee is no good.

I was a first time buyer. Let this be a warning.

I feel what they did was illegal since it wasn't labeled as anything other than what you would think you were getting (i.e. an authentic Canon camera from authorized manufacturers).

Unfortunately i found out about this 4 months too late. CCI Cameras only do a 21 day satisfaction, so i can't get a correct version of the camera or a refund.

Stay away from this company if you care about a warrentee and quality products
