ccs first national card ripoff Las vegas Nevada
*Consumer Comment: Meter mail
*Consumer Comment: Suspicious Mail
I recieved a letter stating that I had recieved an urgent - approved credit card @ a $6,500 limit. But in further reading, I realized that it was a rip off.
Because first of all, this card is a ccs shopping network (catalogs) purchase only card. Secondly, it is a debt entrapped ripoff, which appeals to the customer with bad or no credit.
And lastly, it an offset memebership fee of $200 @ a purchase price of $300), meaning you will start off in a $300 debt hole. I'm so, glad that I read their letter closely before activating my card!!!

Char
Could you explain that a little clearer to me? Are you saying metered mail is legit? I just wanted to be clear, and didn't quite understand.
Tasha - glad to hear you didn't get roped in.

I work for a non-profit agency. The standard for most companies legitimate mail outs are that their letters of intent to the consumer are postaged meter, thereby, just the presentation of the envelope should signal "a" warning that the mailed content is not on the up and up/legitimate mail.
Thank you
