My husband randomly received this 'catalog credit card' in the mail a few days ago. I was reading it over after seeing - $6500 credit line and approved. As I was still reading this contract, I was looking and looking for a website or something legit about it.

We talked it over and figured maybe there is some good stuff in the catalog, and with Christmas coming and three kids..this could be good.

I decided to go online to look at the catalog first, to be sure there was going to be anything in it worth paying all the initial fees. I found nothing but fraud warnings and terrible situations that have been happening to people who were trusting in this scam.
I have not called to activate the card. I feel like I have a piece of poison in my house right now. I am just worried that these people may have important information already. I am still looking over this document because I want to be sure that they don't start charging anything to it when we didn't activate it. Some places require you to call and 'cancel' the membership you never agreed to to avoid further charges.

I am assuming if I don't contact them regarding this card and just cut it up and throw it out that I will have no issues. But after reading all of these stories, I am really nervous.

How is this company still in business? Why are these people not arrested? I read enough reports in one night that span only three days to know that this isn't legit.
For anyone contemplating activating your 'credit card', DON'T DO IT! There is nothing to show for it and I am not coughing up my bank account numbers to anyone without seeing products, and especially when we didn't apply for this. Who gives out that much credit anyway to just anyone? If life were only that easy.

Please, whoever can have the upper hand on this matter, stop these people at once. We don't know how much personal information this company may already have. It makes me nervous to do anything online now. hackers. viruses. these people may be part of that.

Phone bombing people-especially NUMEROUS times during a single day up to times like 8:35pm-and leaving messages that this is some sort of "important message" and I need to call you jerkoffs back while I have NO business relationship with you and I am on the "Don Not Call" registry IS illegal. I'm sure I'm not the only one also.

While you probably dont believe it this company is still in business for a number of reasons. The first being because everthing they do is legal. Two they have excellent monitoring and recording staff. Three their legal team is some of the best in Las Vegas. Four believe it or not there are people who have and continue to purcahse from the catalog. There are customers that have been with company since the early 90's when it first started. Please anyone who is reading this i posted other rebuttals read them then make your own decisions. I am not condoning the way it is done, however I have seen it benefit many people. It maybe overwhelming but I'll tell you now the people who work for the company including myself have the utmost respect for a customers privacy and personal information.
