Received a credit merchant card with a credit limit of $6,500 to start out with. Never sent anything else with regards to where I can place an order, or what items I can order. Did say that this card can only be used to purchase their own items from several catalogs of merchandise. Never received a catalog of any items orderable.
Tried to get a cash advance of $100.00, never received it. Have to pay a membership fee of $200.00 and an annual fee of $100.00. Oh, which of course they would off-set with a first order totaling $700.00.
Indicate they are trying to help the consumer rebuild their credit. But all they are doing is ripping consumers off themselves.
What can be done to stop companies like this?
