CD Metal Buildings formerly Texas Horse Stalls took our half down payment on 9/11/2015 and we have been chasing them (Joel and Cathy Downs) every since. Once they had our money they never returned and after a year and half we had a mediocre foundation with 8 perimeter posts. I cannot tell you the amount of excuses that we have gotten, but it is now beyond pathetic. The foundation had to be reformed 3 times before it was poured and I had to tell them it was wrong in all cases, which he asked me to take care of it for him. After the foundation was poured they knocked on our door wanting their money and when I called Joel he said "Oh we talked about that and I am sorry for the miscommunication".
I went ahead and paid them to avoid a lein bein put on our house. The contract was half down and the other half upon completion. I have been contacted by 8 more people through my other ads and I would hate to know how many others are out there in the same position. They still owe us quite a bit of the money and signed legal documents a year ago to pay us back monthly, which they still refuse to do and it is still excuse after excuse. Once the ads hurt their business enough they will just change the name again and continue to steal peoples money. There are several people that just moved on and cut their losses and that is excactly what they want. Very dishonest people!

We are having the exact same problem!! How in the world is this guy getting away with this?? If anyone could call me I would greatly appreciate it. He owes us $40,000 ugh

Joel and Cathy Downs sent me a check marked paid in full, but the problem with that is they are not paid in full and still owe us about 5k. I have spent money on the attorney fees, clean up that they never finished, re-work for the center drain They signed a binding contract to pay us the full amount including all of the listed fees and still try to get something out of it. I am still getting people contacting me throught this add, so they are still robbing/stealing from people. My attorney is filiing with the county and I want to have all of this documented through the court system.
