Cece Lively Falsified documents for a Sub-lease and kept our $1500.00 Waco Texas

Cece Lively listed her duplex she was leasing from Harrell Realty for rent, she needed someone to sub-lease her duplex. According to Harrell's that is against their rules. My husband and I were just transitioning out of the Army, my husband is now a veteran, and we needed a place to stay. We did not know that sub-leasing was not allowed and really liked Cece's place, so we decided to rent from her, and she had us sign a lease agreement and charged us a $1500 deposit. The leasing company came by and said we have to move out, that what ever deal we had with Cece was nothing. If we wanted to stay we have to go through them.

We also had to pay $1500 to Harrells for the deposit to stay. Cece apologized and promised she would pay us our money, claimed to have no idea, when she was told by Harrell's she could not sub-lease. She paid up to $400, but when we tried cashing the checks, the funds were not available, now she says she got a lawyer and she does not owe us a dime, because that money was Harrell's deposit, but it was not. She used our $1500 to pay her last months rent. She does not want anything to do with us and threatens to call police for harassment, because we contact her asking her to please pay us back.
