HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! That's all I have to say about Jennifer Jeanne's hair extensions. The amount that I've paid and the quality of hair and work I've got is not even close. I have gone to other people and paid much, much less and have gotten a better job done than here. Not only does my hair NOT BLEND in AT ALL with the extensions but they refuse to fix it for free. Instead they want me to pay more or chop off my hair extensions by 4 inches. I paid in full for 18 inches and they want to chop it off because they can't make it blend? I have had hair extensions since 2005 so I know what they should look like and how they should blend. I've only had two bad hair extensions during those times. The guy who put in my hair extensions last did the best job ever and it was metal bonds (these do not damage your hair whatsoever like Jen claims). This guy only charged me $400 total and it looked so beautiful; it blended in perfectly that very same day and without having to cut the hair extensions like Jen. It lasted very long too and throughout the time that I had it, only one hair fell out which is great. Jen claims she's a professional and knows all about hair extension but from my experience and what my hair looks like, I can tell that she is no different than the specialists who screwed up my hair extensions the other couple times. If you want to know what my extensions look like, go to Jen's website www.celebrityextensions.com and click on Good Hair/Bad Hair. The blond girl that has very bad extensions and you can tell her hair from the extensions very easily, that's what my hair looks like at this time. I have pictures to prove it. Jen claims that's very bad extensions but yet she's made my hair to look exactly like that. The hair color is perfect and probably the only thing that I am happy about but the extensions are horrible. Oh not to mention that I can't even tie my hair up without the glue showing on my entire right side. Extensions are not suppoed to be put so high up because it will show no matter what and yet she put mine so high up that it shows no matter what I do. Only if it's blowdried and curled does my hair look okay. I dont' have time to blowdry and curl my hair every single time I shower. Dont' go to Jennifer. She is a ripoff and has no knowledge on how to work with extensions. Instead, save your money and go to somewhere else that charges half the price she does to get it done right the first time.

In reponse to the Consumer
AUTHOR: Diana B - ()
SUBMITTED: Monday, July 15, 2013
Hello,
This response goes to the consumer who is requesting a contact for hair extensions. The guy that used to do my hair for a much cheaper price is no longer in business and the Russian, don't even think about it. I went to her for hair extensions and I paid a much higher price than here and it was even worse. At least Jennifer could blend the colors to match my hair, Larisa at Larisa Beauty Salon could not even do that. It was a much worse experience than at Celebrity Extensions and I"m glad I got some of my money returned through credit disputes.
Anyway, I now only know one girl that does really great extensions. They look very natural and she can get very creative by doing ombre styles even. My friend goes to her and my friend has the thinnest hair possible, you can see her scalp. She has had extensions on for quite some time now and you can't even tell. That's how good they look. She has 24" extensions. I've also seen her work on Instagram (rlowery is her username) and if you check it out, you will see what i mean. She is really good not just at extensions but also coloring. I would highly recommend her. The prices are very good compared to all these others I've been to and I was actually pretty shocked at the price because I thought it would've been much more considering the salon and the location.
She works at Guiseppe Franco in Beverly Hills. Give her a call and you won't regret it. Tell her that Janna's friend, Diana, recommended you.
Wish you the best of luck. I will be going to her soon as well.

Problems with hair extensions in the past

I wanted to know your contacts of the stylists that do a great job without the high price tag of Celebrity Extensions. I am considering going there but very concerned with your complaints. Who is the Russian stylist you mentioned that lives in Studio city and the guy that you were so happy with. I would appreciate your contacts as I too have had a horrible experience with no refund and it's so difficult to find someone who is affordable and good. Why did you stop going to the Russian stylist and your other stylist if you were so happy? Thanks so much.

THIS IS THE REAL AND FINAL UPDATE!
AUTHOR: Diana B - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, August 04, 2011
This is my last and final review. I updated my review to a five star yesterday
because Jennifer contacted me yesterday offering me a refund if I take down the
reviews. I unfortunately believed her. Now she is threatening me with fear of
suing for extortion, defamation, and slander. I have only put out the facts for
the people to see. Everything I have mentioned on my reviews are true statements
about my experience. I have not lied about one single thing. I didn't even ask
her for a refund when writing these reviews until she contacted me trying to
give various offers which I would not accept. Now she's trying to threaten me?
Anyway, my experience here was indeed the worse experience I have ever had in my
life. I usually never write reviews of anyone but this one I had to. Not just
becuase I've spent so much money on hair extensions that looks horrible but the
fact that customer service lacks here terribly. I pleaded with Jen in the
beginning to please fix my hair and we are done. I would've never contacted her
or written reviews about her except positive ones. She refused becuase she let
her ego get ahead of her. She only offered me two options: She said I can either
put more hair in for an additional $270 on top of the $1,610 I had already paid
for or they could cut my hair by 3 to 4 inches to try and make it blend. These
are ridiculous options because if she is going to cut my hair by that many
inches, then she should give me a partial refund because I paid in full for 18
inches of hair, not 14 or 15. She refused. Second, why should I pay more for her
to fix her mistake? She should've given me a consultation and we wouldn't be in
this mess. I specifically asked her assistant, Ashley, which Im assuming doesnt
work there anymore from Jen's text messages, if I need to go in for her to look
at my hair and she told it wasn't necessary. Now this proves that it was
definitely neccessary as it is the most crucial step in hair extensions.
Everywhere I call for hair extensions, they always say you must have a
consultation first. I tried to cancel my appointment with this place because I
had a bad feeling but Ashley didn't let me stating that they do not do
cancellations and refunds of deposit even though she NEVER told me prior to
booking the appointment. On their website, it specificially states that you can
cancel appointments 24 hours in advance which mine was way ahead of that. I dont
know. I told Jen to keep the money and I will just take a loss. I dont' want her
to contact me anymore giving me offers she can't fulfill. However, she unable to
fulfill her side of the agreement, I decided that it was only fair to update my
reviews back to its original message so that it shows that I am not a liar but
rather naive. I only went to Jen because she had some beautiful before/after
pictures and great reviews and I was told she was the best by her assistant. I
understand sometimes not everybody can get the same results and I wouldnt' blame
her if she would just fix it without making such a big deal out of it and asking
for more money. I really could have gone somewhere cheaper and gotten them done
for much, much cheaper but I went to her becuse I had an important event and
wanted to look beautiful. However, even my stylist couldn't style my hair the
way I wanted it because the extensions were done wrong and she told me so via
text. I have kept all texts between me, ashley, jen and my stylist. This was my
experience. Others could have had good experience but not me and I wanted to let
people know of my opinion of this place. You guys can be the judge for yourself.

PLEASE IGNORE THE REPORT ABOVE. IT IS NOT TRUE AND WAS JUST MY WAY OF GETTING REVENGE. THIS COMPANY IS NOT A RIPOFF AND DOES INDEED DO A GOOD JOB. IF I COULD, I WOULD HAVE THIS REPORT DELETED BUT UNFORTUNATELY THEY WON'T REMOVE EVEN THOUGH I REQUESTED IT. HAD I KNOWN THIS, I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT IT PRIOR TO POSTING. HOWEVER, WE HAVE SETTLED OUR DIFFERENCES NOW AND JENNIFER HAS HELPED TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS. Please look at her before/after photos and reviews and you will see that she is good at what she does. I just had a minor problem with mine that needed fixing. She has helped me in this situation and I am now happy and satisfied. Again, please ignore this report. CONSIDER IT DELETED.

Still spreading lies about me!!
AUTHOR: Diana B - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, July 04, 2011
In response to Jen's rebuttal above, she is lying about the fact that I have been asking for free hair and discounts since the day I've walked in. First of all, when I first went into their salon it was not for their services but rather the services of their hair color specialist that works out of their salon. Jen was called to look at my hair and advise what type of hair extensions she would use since they were aware that I was looking into getting some. She stopped by for five minutes and said wavy hair would be best. After I was done coloring my hair, I then called Ashley to book an appt with Jen for hair extensions as I had a party to go on June 17th. When Ashely was booking the appt, I asked her if she needs me to come in to look at my hair to determine how much hair is needed and to get final pricing so that I know how much it will end up costing me and if i wanted to invest that much at this time. She advised me NO and that 5 bundles should be good enough but she will order 6 just in case. I told her ok that's fine as long as Jen's the best. She advised me that Jen is an absolute professional in this field and that she is the best. After I made the appt, I decided that I wanted to cancel my appointment but Ashely told me that once I book the appt, I cannot cancel or get a refund of the deposit I paid. I told her you never advised me of this information over the phone prior to booking even though she insisted she did. I am not a psycho that looks for companies to fight with because I have nothing else to do. The less stress I have with someone, the better for me. However, I hate companies that lie to me and rip me off especially this amount of money. Anyway, so since i was stuck I told her to just leave it. I went in a week before the appt to pick out the hair colors. We picked three different hair colors and place the orders. The day of the extension came and I saw the hair and they were a lot darker than the hair I was shown. They could see that i was not happy about this. Jen asked Ashely to look for another bundle that is lighter than the color they ordered for the top of my head. Ashely found a small bundle and they decided to use that instead. At this time, I thought they were going to swap out one of the bundles Ashely initially ordered with the new bundle they found. Instead, they put all of the bundles in my hair and didn't even tell me. They didn't charge me for it but they keep bringing it up like they did me a favor which it wasn't. I never asked them to do it, that was up to their discretion. Also, when Jen took the hair out, I was not happy about it because they didn't seem wavy as they should be considering they are supposed to be wavy extensions. I've had wavy virgin hair extensions and those looked much more wavier than these. These were almost straight extensions. Anyways, after she put them in I thought I was done. Then Jen started to cut the extensions supposedly for blending (i've never seen this done by anyone else and I was told that it's never good to cut extensions) and then she put on her curler to curl my hair. After she was done curling my hair, it looked gorgeous (YES I ADMIT IT). That's when I sent her the text message that she stated above in her rebuttal. However, after I took a shower two days later (their recommended time), I tried to style my hair in different styles. The first time I decided to just let it air dry and see what it happens. My hair is straight at the top and just slightly wavy at the ends. She knew way beforehand when she saw my hair the first time. After it being air dried, my hair looked so ugly that I immediatly braided it so I can't see the uneveness of the extensions with my hiar. I'm telling you it looked horrible and I have pictures. I posted them above. I complained about this to Ashely in a text message. She told me it will take some time for the hair extensions to get used to the texture of my hair. The next time I showered, I decided to flat iron my hair and see how that looked. After flat ironing, I noticed that no matter how many times i ironed the top of my hair with the extensions, it will not blend. The top of my hair was bulky and standing out while the extensions laid flat against my back. This caused the extensions to be extrememly distinguisable from my hair. It would not blend in at all like it should be had my hair been done right. I told her about this and she said that Jen is willing to give me classes on how to style my hair. I don't need Jen to show me how to flat iron my hair as there is only one way to do this. I have been flat ironing my hair for years and have done so previously with hair extensions. Her hair extensions are no different. The very next time I showered I decided to try it with mousse. I asked Ashely which mousse is best and she said Paul Mitchell. I purchased the mousse and put in to the extensions along with my hair. I was hoping this would work. However, after letting my hair dry with the mousse in there, it even worse than the flat ironing. It looked ridiculous and I immediately tied it up in a bun again. I told Ashely about this. I told them that I don't think I have enough hair on the top and that I may possibly need more or that my extensions need to be layered. Ashley stated that I would have to pay for an extra bundle for the top and then they would layer it after they chop of 3 to 4 inches of my extensions. Why would I want anyone to chop off so many inches after I paid over $1600 for 18 inches of hair? Do they even think when they offered me this option? Also, they state on their webstie that they provide you with products that are worth $100 or so. Let me tell you what they give: Creme of Nature shampoo which you purchase at Sally probably or online for very cheap. A cheap comb that looks like a doll's brush that can purchased at 99 cent store. Three scrunchies that again can be purchased at 99 cent store. They were also supposed to give a me satin pillowcase but I never got one. They had a better brush for extensions but of course you have to pay for that. You also have to buy leave in treatment. The products they gave to me I would say are worth $10 max, not $100. That's a lie right there. Second, the hair care they offer is basically Ashley reading one by one what it says on this document they give to you to sign. It tell you how to take care of it which some is basic and you can find online anyway. That was ridiculous. I thought they were going to tell me something I didn't know already. This salon charges way more than other salons I know of. There is this salon in Studio city, a russian lady, and her prices start at $700 for a full head and up depending upon how much hair you need. I know other salons who charge $300 to $500 for a full head and have done a great job. My sister just got her extensions done at a salon in North Hollywood and all she paid was $400 and it looks 100 times greater than mine. I wish I had known about him sooner. Trust me ladies, there is nothing professional abou this place. They don't even do a proper consultation like they are required to. I could call any sallon and that is the first thing they must do with the client to determine how much hair they will need and how much it will cost approximately. The consumer has the right to know how much they will end up paying for the extensions. Once you place an appt, you are stuck because they don't tell you you can't cancel after they book and take your money. Once they do your hair and it's not good, they want to charge you more to fix their mistakes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU. DON'T BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ON HER WEBSITE AS IT COULD BE HER FRIENDS OR 5 TO 6 SISTERS SHE HAS. THERE'S NOT WAY THAT A SALON ONLY HAS POSITIVE REVIEWS. JEN HAS THE ABILITY TO DELETE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND THAT'S WHAT SHE DID WITH MINE. I GAVE MY WARNING AND IT IS UP TO YOU TO BELIEVE ME OR THE OWNER OF THE SALON WHO WOULD SAY ANYTHING TO SAVE HER CLIENTS AND BUSINESS.

This is silly...

This is my last response to this silliness. My company is very professional, we have been around for almost 19 years. We are transformation specialists and care for each and every client. Our prices are extremely reasonable compared to any other professional salon. When looking to get your hair done right, it is important to do your homework and be prepared to take care of the extensions. We can not be held resposible for clients that are negligent with the hair extensions.
Diana wanted to look like the blonde version of Kim Kardasian. Kim takes tremendous good care of her hair and has it styled on a daily basis. We offered Diana complimentry classes on how to style her hair properly but she was not interested and refused the service. From the moment she walked in the salon until now, she has been asking for free hair and discounts. We do not give away free hair, as we must pay for it as well. We are very busy due to our great reputation around the world and we will continue to be great at what we do.
Effort is key to having gorgeous, sexy long locks.
Below is Diana's direct text message(uneditted) to me after she got her hair extensons.
"
Hi jen....its Diana. Thank you so much for my hair today. It is gorgeous and i
feel gorgeous. Everybody loves it."

JEN IS A LIAR AND POSTING FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT ME!
AUTHOR: Diana B - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, July 02, 2011
In response to Jennifer's response below, I was not offered 1 more bundle. I had advised them that I need more hair because whatever style I tried my hair was not blending in. However, I asked them to do it for free since they are ones that screwed up. Second, they told me if they cut layers into my extensions I will lose the fullness. Who wants that? Jen and Ashely only offered me two options: To either pay an additional $270 to put in more hair or to chop off my extensions by 3 to 4 inches? That is ridiculous. I told them if you are going to chop off my hair by that many inches then I want a partial refund since I paid in full for 18 inches of hair, not 14. They disagreed. They will not budge to do anything to help me if they weren't making more money. She keeps posting up only one picture of my hair and it's curled. When my hair is curled, of course you are not going to see the mess that she made. However, I sent them a few pictures of my hair and how it looks after different styles and yet they refuse to post those up. Hmm, I wonder why. Plus, I do not have frizzy, curly hair. My hair is wavy and the only reason it's alittle frizzy now because i colored my hair within two weeks apart to get it light to the color I want and she knows that because I had it done at her salon. Also, I have had even more frizzier hair than this and have had hair extensions in and i can tell you they blended in beautifully. It's not my hair that's the problem, it's the person putting the hair in. A true professional should know how to work with every different type of hair, not just one specific one. However, Jen is far from being a professional. Had she given me a proper consultation, we wouldn't have this problem. For her to tell me that there is no way for her to know how much hair I'm going to need, that is ridiculous. It is her job to look at the client's hair and determine how much hair. I can call any salon and ask about extensions and the first thing they'll say is "you will need to do a consultation to figure out how much hair I need and how much it will cost." All hair extension specialist must provide a price so that clients are aware of how much they are going to be end up spending. I was never told a price. They just pretty much went with the flow. They ordered 6 bundles total and put them in. Then they figured if I need more they will just order more and I would pay since I already have them in and would no choice but to pay for it. They are very tricky and sneaky. She could post any response but she is a liar and a ripoff. I have never posted bad reviews of anyone but I had to of this place because they ripped me off by alot of money. it's not that I didn't have the money to put on the extensions but had I known it was going to cost this much, I wouldn't have invested in it at this time. However, nobody ever advised me of how much I will end up paying in the long run which is their job to advise the client before putting the hair in. Not after when they are stuck with it. I have tried styling it with styling methods and none have worked. I have texted her assistant ASHLEY and told her that my hair is not blending whether air dried, flat ironed or with mousse. I still have the string of text messages between me, Ashley and Jen. I have pictures of my hair in the different styles and if you see it, you'd know why I am frustrated at the fact that i paid so much money for these extensions. If you are interested in seeing my pictures, please email me at diana.balayan@gmail.com and I will send you the same pictures I have sent to them. Jen only has one good picture of my hair and it was the day that she curled and styled. Usually, no hair extension specialist ever styles my hair. I have had wavy extensions in before and they were just gorgeous as is and really wavy. These extensions were like 90% straight and 10% wavy. Even if I put mousse on the extensions it would still not be wavy. What kind of "wavy" hair does not get wavy with mousse? Anyway, I have all the proof I need to show that Jen is not good at what she does. She claims to have over 2000 clients and yet only has 39 reviews which a few of them are mine. If 2000 clients were so happy with their hair, why didn't they leave a review? Also, she deleted my negative reviews and left positive only. When I complained on her website about this, she then posted it back and put a response claiming that she doesn't mind negative reviews but I know she does. Again, ladies if you want to get ripped off and get the most worse hair extensions in your life, please by all means go to Jen. If you want your hair to be done right, I suggest going to someone who does a proper consultation first and lets you know the entire process and how much it will cost you. Here it will cost you an arm and a leg. If you have it, then go for it but you will be losing more than just an arm and a leg.

It is very important to understand that when getting hair extensions they are by no means the solution to fixing frizzy, curly hair. In order to achieve that magazine cover look all of the time you must put in the effort to style, blowdry, curl, or iron your hair.
Diana was informed that she may need 1 extra bundle because of the thickness of her hair and there after we could cut more layers for blending, otherwise we would lose to much fullness. We advise all of our clients with what is neccesary, it is then their decision. She agreed to 1 more bundle and set an appointment but did not show. We can only help if you are willing to recieve.
Please feel free to view Diana's before and after pictures on the Good hair/Bad hair page of our website, and you be the judge.
There are no surprises in our prices, they are clearly stated on our website.
Hair extensions are a pricey investment knowingly, it is important to save up to get them done right.
