Cellflirt.net - Cellfish Media Added text service without permission, using Facebook IQ test, took advantage of little old lady New York New York

Upon receiving my Verizon wireless bill, charges were noted that were listed as 'Premium Text Messaging.' This on a phone that is used by my aged mother who doesn't know how to text. After calling Verizon to get these removed, we were given a phone number for a third party that ended up being Cellflirt through Cellfish Media. The contact number didn't give any information on how to resolve the billing issue other than to send an e-mail to support@cellflirt.net, and text to stop receiving messages.

After searching for cellflirt and finding this site (Ripoff report) and seeing this has happened to other people with no good result or response from the company, I checked and sure enough the IQ test through Facebook was the link to this problem. She wondered why she never got her score after giving her cell phone number when asked for it to complete the IQ test. Nowhere was permission given to sign up for texting service!!!!!!! Without asking for permission to charge for their service, this company is stealing from people, and worst of all, from defenseless little old ladies who haven't a clue!!!!

We are filing a report with the Michigan Attorney General's office regarding this attack and fraud on helpless people. Life is hard enough in this economy without having companies like this kick you in the teeth while you are down!!!

Beware of applications found through Facebook or other sites that ask for personal information- NEVER give this out, as there are leeches out there waiting to steal from you!!!!
