Ordered a set of Irish Bagpipes for $1,111 from their web site where the stated delivery time was 10-16 weeks. Nearly 40 weeks later I asked for an update and was told that there were unexpected backorders and a depression in Ireland. More months go by and when I ask again they say I am number 1 on the list and they are working with the maker to try and get a date. More time goes by and I ask again and they say they expected them last month.

Finally I contact the maker in Ireland directly and ask what would the wait time be if I ordered a set of bagpipes from him and what type of backlog there was. He replays 3 months. I wait another 3 months and at the year and a half mark I ask for my money back and include the emails I had from the maker. CelticRenaissanceMusic.com refuses as it is not their policy to give a refund on 'special orders'  and still does not give a delivery date. I still demand a refund as they are nearly a year and a half over the delivery time promised and threaten legal action and added attorney fees. They replay that they would countersue and file for dismissal for a frivolous suit and charge me with legal fees.

I send them a formal Demand Letter giving them one more month to comply and I get nothing back over a month later. I also contact the maker in Ireland directly and copy them with the order / emails and they state that they have never even received and order from this company and were never paid. The maker attempts direct contact for the next couple of months and they never return his calls or emails either.

Their website is still up and they are still stealing from others I am sure as the orders are automatic. I can not get help from the credit card company as when I tried that at the year and a half mark I was told the claim was too old. I have now filed a criminal police report / complaint. Please someone remove this ripoff website that is still constantly stealing from others as well.
