Home Improvement Contractor - CEMEX , INC.

Our home is about 4 years old. The builder did not tie the front porch into the house. It is a full front porch the lengh of the front of the house, with a wrap around at the side. The cement is sinking and putting pressure on the roof. We called CEMEX, INC. and James Emerson, owner, came out to our house and called 4 days later with an estimate. His estimate was $14,000.00 to $15,000.00! Depending on materials we choose.We also called another company who will do the same thing CEMEX, INC. said they would do and the estimate for this other company was $6,000.00. CEMEX. INC. is a "rip off" and should be put out of business! This is the kind of company that prays on older people. We have not heard from CEMEX, INC. since he gave us the estimate and told him we would not sign the contract. As soon as we told him we were having another company come out to give us another estimate, he ran out of our house like a scared jack rabbit! Never to be seen or heard of again!
