Cental Transport Ripoff Multiple Problems from this company Detroit Michigan

I had furniture delivered to a customer using central transport and it arrived in very bad condition, almost half of the bar stool frames were bent badly (as well as some damage to the vinyl covered seats). After other dealings with them, it is called good luck getting any money out of them for destroyed merchandise. Even though the person receiving them noted the damage on the stools, Central Transport blamed the warehouse for shipping them out already damaged. There is no advantage for that to be done, the customer will complain and you have to send them more frames, which means paying more freight.

We then had to have the stools picked up and sent back so a claim could be filed against them (of course the shipping was at our expense). The pickup was scheduled for a couple of days later, they did not show up that day. The person receiving the stool frames needs this resolved so he can open his restaurant. They did not inform anyone that they would not be there, they just didnt show and we had to find out why they didnt pick them up that day.

I am writing this on the day that they hopefully show up to pick up the chairs, the other product will now have to be shipped to the customer. This will triple the shipping costs, and they blame the warehouse for sending out bad product, this is what happens when you do that.

I have had other problems with Central Transport so I know the claim will never be paid and the extra shipping costs will not either. A prior problem like this was not resolved.

I know once burned twice shy, but I sometimes dont have any say in it as I am a broker and the warehouses ship how they want to.

Just remeber, Central Transport will get it there cheap, however, it may not be in one piece. If it is not in one piece, you will not see enough money to replace or repair it, if you see any.
