I herein write this report to avoid future victims from utilizing the services of Century 21 Oliver Jackson and their realtors. I almost became a victim of this company due to the unprofessionilsm displayed by a Real Estate Agent named Paul de Landa.
Mr. de Landa omitted several information that could have adversely hinder my ability to pay the mortgage payments should the process of purchasing the home became complete. Since he was representing both the buyer and sellers, Mr. de Landa only looked for the interests of the seller and not the buyer, which in this case was me.
For example he never disclosed the property taxes that needed to be paid on the location of the home. As a first time buyer, I was not informed that I had the option of splitting the closing costs with the sellers and when I was informed of the matter, the 17 day grace period had expired leaving me with no alternative but to proceed with the transaction and jeopardizing my deposit. When I was disqualified by the lender on the approval of the loan, Mr. de Landa refused to call the sellers in order to have them sign the release of the mutual cancellation form from escrow, leaving me with no alternative but pursue legal action in order to recuperate my deposit.
Mr. d**k Oliver is the Broker of this company. Mr. Oliver upon receiving notification of the decision by the judge on the small claims hearing in which he was instructed to pay the amount awarded in the amount of $390.00, refused to take responsability for his lack of committment to appear in court on the specified date. His company owes me the amount of $390.00 and to this date has not taken responsibility for liquidating this amount and violating the court of law.
These two individuals should be called out for their lack of professionalism and code of ethics and should be ashmed of calling themselves "professionals".

Did You File an Abstract of Judgement?
AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

HAVING a judgement against someone does not necessarily mean you will collect from them. The judgement shows up in public records, but the only way that you can get the judgment enforced is to have an abstract of judgement or a garnishment. Otherwise, you are just one of many individuals to whom money is owed by the debtor. You could pursue a "bad faith" case and ask for punitive damages, but not in small claims court. Good Luck!
