Century Rentals Jennifer Cooper *Scam alert * Pomona, California

Do not do business with this company.  It's a SCAM.  They offer a housing rental service but the ads are fake rentals.  They trick you into paying a 'deposit' of $190.00 and verbally assure you they will refund it right away.  They say they need the deposit so you can get the keys and be put in touch with the owner, and that you can get the deposit back whenever you want.  

We made several calls with their rep (who calls himself Pablo) to get appointments to view properties and they never put us in touch with any of them, instead they switch us from person to person and give the run around.  One time the receptionist Cindy hung up on us, and it's obvious when we spoke with Michelle (the 'supervisor') she makes up stories as she goes.  This place is an outright lie, the places they are advertising are not even for rent (we researched and confirmed this for ourselves).  The owners of such properties are probably unaware they are even being advertised as such.   

We asked for our money back when we realized the services were not legitimate and so far the refund has been denied.  We have uncovered several other victims who posted similar reviews on this place (which are attached in links below).  

If you are among the victims of this scheme, please join the rest of us in filing a complaint with Pomona police department, California Department of Real Estate and Better Business Bureau.  They already have received numerous complaints, and the more received the sooner this place gets what it deserves.  With more exposure of this scam, there's also a greater possibility of a lawsuit to help all of us get our money back.   Either way, this helps ensure Jennifer Cooper (who is doing business as Century Rentals) will lose her license with the California Department of Real Estate (her license ID is PRA02065, which is a Prepaid Rental Listing Service License.
