Certified Car bank Scam artists Seatle Washington

I was contacted by this "company" after posting my car on craigslist. When they called I was in carmax getting an offer. I acually thought them as legitimate. The "receptionist" calls and asked me if the car was for sale then I was transfered to the "sales manager". The static in the transfer and change of sounds constantly was clue number 1. The person who picked up the phone gave me his name as James Green. He was kind at first. I was cooperative because I thought it legitimate. I told him I was getting an offer at the moment from carmax. Mr. James made me an offer of 15,527 and said he would call me back in one hour so we could get going on selling my car, and that I would not get what I wanted from carmax. I had never before heard of Certified Car Bank. I started doing some research only to realize it was a scam. I did not call him back.

I was then called 4 times the next day while I was at work. When I got off I was called again another 2 times. I finally picked up and told him I sold the car. The tone changed he became very rude and pushy asking me how much I got the car for. I said it was kindly none of his buisness and nothing personal. He then responded that "well you must have not gotten what you wanted" and started talking about how they were a good company. When I stayed firm saying the car was already sold I was hung up on. The website has not been up long and from reading the other comments from this site about the company they terrify me. I really do believe this is a scam artist.
