I was contacted regarding my student loan for consolidation and repayment. At first I was told given my income and family size i qualified for the $0 pay back plan. However, they later quoted me $54 payment But they needed $700 processing fees for the loan payment. I figured it was worth it considering my other financial situations, I needed a good deal on my student loan. Since then I received a monthly payment of $135, no where near the amounts I was quoted. I have tried contacting CDS and my account manager Sean Thonpson, numerous times and have not received a call back. I've called the customer service line and everyone refers me to my account manager who scammed me in the first place. I am going to continue to call daily until I can talk to someone who can fix their error. I will be filing a small claims to get my "processing" fee returned because they did not process anything, all they did was consolidate my loan and that could have been done anywhere for free. They try to lock you in by giving you a good deal and then lie and scam you once you've already given them their information. I do not recommend anyone use this company for loans.

Certified Direct Solutions reached out after learning about my situation. They have reassured me that they are here to help and they apologized profusely for the miscomunication and lack thereof. They will be resubmitting my loan and hopefully qualifying me for a lower payment as previously discussed. Currently we are in the process of working on my account and going forward I feel confident in Certified Direct Solutions.

Hello Ms. Trisha and Ms. Crawford,
We do apologize that you feel this way about our company. We would love to rectify the situation if you would allow us to do so. Ms. Trisha:
We do apologize if you have not been able to reach someone who can assist you. We do not see any files in regards to a "Trisha," mainly because we need more information in order to locate your file and assist you. In regards to your response on contacting CDS and the customer service line, we have not heard of anyone who calls in regularly to have their account looked into. There is a protocol that we have here that requires you to speak to your representative first in order to have them look into your account, as they are the ones that explained to you these programs in the first place. However, if you would just like to speak to someone in our customer service department, we highly encourage you to do so at your earliest convenience. The number has been stated in your claim already. Please reach out to us so that we can look into your file and take care of your federal student loans.
In regards to discrepencies in the monthly payments, that might have been because of the income and family size you stated, and the income and family size that you provided to us. Discrepencies do occur because individuals tend to quote what they make after deductions rather than before, which is probably what had occured in your situation. If you payment is extremely high and unaffordable, we can definitely resubmit your application; we just need you to contact us in order to do so. We would like to rectify the situation as quickly as possible as we work very hard to make sure that our consumer's are satisfied with our services.
In regards to Ms. Crawford:
We were able to locate your account with us. We do see that we did provide the services that was stated in your contract, as well as your approval for the income-driven plan. We also see that the monthly payment that you were approved for with your servicer came back at a difference of around $119 than what we additionally quoted to you. However, we were not able to provide this information to you because you did not offer us the chance; you reversed the charge of your payment that was provided for this service. We attempted to contact you in regards to this information, however we were unsuccessful. We are unsure of where we went wrong in regards to our services because we provided the services we stated we would in the contract you had signed.
In regards to your complaint against our attorney, he is only our merchant account holder. Payments are processed through the attorney's merchant for the consumer's safety, as well as the company's safety, to abide by all terms and regulations.
We do hope that you can reach out to us as well so that we can know where we need to improve on. As mentioned previously, we work very hard to make sure that our consumer's are satisfied with our services. We look forward to hearing from both of you so that we can assist you, and avoid any similar occurences from happening again. We always strive to improve.

Hello Trisha,
I too have been scammed by Certified Direct Solutions. I am not sure if "the law offices of David Egli" was the billing charge on your credit card but that is who charged my fee. This person is an attorney in the sate of CA and I am starting a complaint with the State of CA Bar association against him. The thing is there needs to be a couple of different people in order to open a claim. I would like to try together to get our $$ back. Please contact me at sfkimmy@gmail.com. We can start the dialogue there and see what we need to start the process. I am going to see where I can post the issue in other places to find more victims.
