Many Retirees/Seniors were fully employed when they opened a Bridgestone Credit Card and purchased credit protection. Unknow to them, they are getting ripped off. They continue to pay the monthly premium forgetting to cancel. Many retirees work contract periods, temporary classified positions to supplement their income.
The problem occurs when the retiree files a claim, if their employer classifies their job as temporary, CFNA will not pay bebefits. They have collected my premium, and now refusing to pay the benefits. When I asked to whom I could complain, I was told they were not allowed to give out that information.
I couldn't be told the name of the President or CEO. I immediately cancelled the credit protection and am proceeding further with this issue. How many other retirees are paying premiums on a card that they cannot collect a benefit. I am sick of corporations and banks ripping people off.
