On June 14/08 I had hair extensions put in by Nellie Chacon of Chacon International . I had answered an add in the Calgary Sun seeking Models for Hair Extensions .
At our first appt we discussed the colors and type of hair extentions we would do. She had me sign a peice of paper stating what we were going to do and pay a $100.00 deposit . and I agreed to a before and after picture.
When I went to get them done she did none of the things we discussed in our first appt .
First she put a dark red and black peice in the bottom (which turned out to be plastic and melted when I tried to flat iron it ) in our discussions we had agreed to do a dark brown piece for this area .
Second she refused to cut the extensions !! She left hanging to my waist!after telling me at first appt that she would cut and style them!
Then she wanted to cut my own hair with her scissors which were covered in glue!!! I refused !!
At the end of our appt she did not take the after picture I wonder why ?
SO far I have had to pay an additional 300.00 ontop of the 450.00 I paid her just have this mess fixed only to have them all fall out only 5 days after I had them put in , DO not trust this woman to touch your hair she says she is a proffesional but she is NOT!!!

This is actually a report instead of a rebuttal.
This company is a complete scam! It is a cheap scheme to overprice service on aspiring individuals who wants to make some side money in the modeling industry. When you go to this place, you should be prepared to get hussled with promises of modeling gigs! It is absolutely false advertising. This place is not looking for models but rather customers who become her "models" for her back alley business. Reading the top comment disgust me! This company needs to be reported.
I went there with expectations of maybe free extensions or a haircut at least in exchange for whatever 'modeling' service I provide. The first time i got off my car, i was already disappointed! This place is in Boston Pizza's unused attic. Going up the stairs, you will see what looks like cut out pictures from old magazine pasted onto the wall. I was worried. I called my friend to check out their website as there were numerous pamphlets of thier company layng around the office area. A second later, my friend phoned back saying that the website does not exist. I was even more worried. Then the woman started showing me pictures of her past work .. like before and after. The people on thepicture looked 'ok' though i was concerned that their portfolio is readily displayed to an inquiring individual. It was carefully place in a cheap binder, probably glued together like what she was planning to do with my hair. So then she made the pitch of I can be her model for her place for a small price of $400! I was thinking, for that amount, i can get a medium quality hair extensions without the hassle of signing papers and with all the rights to being a paying consumer. I was taken aback. I made that ride all the way to 17th just to be told that I need to pay $400 for the fake hair that she will willingly put in for free and to be her 'model'. She justified the modeling part of her advertising as if people her work on my hair, I will refer them to her!! This is a complete scam!!! SCAM!! SCAM!!!
THIS IS NOT A HAIR EXTENSION MODEL GIG! It is a cheap scheme to get customers!! It makes me sick how far some people would go to make some money. And from the sound of it, she's not a very good hair stylist at all!!!!!! Read the other report on this company!

As of Thursday June 19/08 , the extensions are all out and my scalp is damaged from the glue she used and attached directly to the scalp which is a huge mistake!! please save yourself the agony and go toa professional!!!
