the company was suppsed to line up mover for Friday Feb 9. After a weekend wiht no truck showing up and no call no show, repeaditly called broker for 3 days before an answer from Chris. He said the truck was stuck in a snow storm in Maryland which there was none of. Then 3 days later says that the truck broke down in Between NewYork and Pennsylvania.
Finally the moving company started calling me. (bulldog movers-Heather)She said that Mr. Chris had not contacted her until the day of the move. I asked him and said that the company he had orgionally booked had dropped the load. Again no call no show no communication.
Well after calling and finally getting excuse after excuse they show up almost 2 weeks into the origional scheduled time. The price at 2500 lbs was $2'097.43 which included boxes for 375. Borught total down to $1507.63. Well praise the lord and pass the ammunition they finally picked it up. Got it weighed. Chris and Heather call me tlaking about it 7500lbs and now i have to give them an additional $3000 round about to pay for the excess weight. This was supposed to be and open contract with a do not exceed cost.
I asked Chris if i could meet him at the weigh station down the road from my house weigh it again and see for my self then go back with me riding in the truck witht the movers and see the empty weight he told me hell in the fact that i would already have my stuff and hed get gyped. with me int he truck mind you.
Also keep in mind now that they were packing a 2 bedroom apartment not a three bedroom home. He said Heather had to have a wire if $2000 or they would sell my stuff at a truck stop to cover the load if i did not pay. Strange thing was they refused a money order. Well when they finally showed up after being approxamately 2 weeks late the price kept going down which was also odd. Seeing as if the load was really 7500 a company would be firm.
Chris wanted $2500 first then he went down, $2000, then 1800 and so on until it was at 1700. I told him theres be a money order here id call him with a confirmation number, i wasnt worried about the price just the weight, he said no wire, no delivery. Well they unloaded at my storage and come to find out from the driver it was only an amazingly light 3500lbs. I got the shaft.

The handling of my move was very unprofessional on both accounts-the move broker which by the way never told me they were a broker made as if the moving company, and movers themselves. It took an act of congress to get a response on anything from them if they could be reached.
