You are lucky to get a parking spot at Champlain as they continue to accept students well above capacity. They lease parking on the streets of Burlington surrounding the campus, where any normal citizen can park for free, unless you are a student! However, if you are lucky enough to get a parking spot, BE AWARE CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE RIPS STUDENTS OFF!

Not only do you pay $150 for a parking permit to the college, good for one semester, but you also incur any additional fees by the city of Burlington. Snow parking bans are a common event in Burlington, and your $150 parking spot is no exception. Parking ban tickets usually run about $45 for the first offense.

Also, Be aware if you are a parent visiting your child! Champlain will ticket you because they run your plate registration against their database of student names and home addresses!
