Chantal Boudrias B**** went back on her word and lied to the cops to slander me Laval Quebec

I had bought my electronics repair shop from the previous owner in 2000 and added a videogame boutique as well. It was shortly afterwards that I was handing out business cards to people. One of whom I would later come to know as Vincent Boudrias.

He came to check out my store; he wanted a Playstation and I had offered to make him a deal. He came back with his mom, Chantal, and his dad. They traded in a Nintendo 64 with 4 games in exchange for a hacked Playstation with four pirated games. He got to check out all the games I had in stock and pick out the four that he wanted. I burned him the pirated copies and tested them out to make sure that they played okay. It came with a 3 month guarantee. Deal done, right?

Four to six weeks later Chantal came to my store wanting me to give back the stuff they traded in and she'd return the Playstation. When I asked her why, and she said that she had changed her mind. When I refused, she threatened to report me to the police. I still didn't give in.

She wanted to plead lesion, a provision of Quebec law that protects minors from being taken advantage of by unscrupulous businessmen. I learned of it in High School myself and I knew right away that it didn't apply in this case. It's for cases where a vendor might overcharge a minor for an item, like charging full price for an item that's currently (not previously) on sale. Not the case here. And in any event, he came here with both his parents who supervised the transaction from beginning to end and gave their approval. When I pointed this out she said that it was her word against mine.

Keep in mind that I'm black and that she's white. After she had gone to the police station to file the complaint, she came back to say that they were just waiting for the chance to nail me. She claimed that she she didn't expect me to just swap the stuff back but offered to pay a balance, but it was a little late for that.

I've had problems with the police where some were rude and disrespectful towards me and didn't seem keen on doing their jobs. They either flatout refused to press charges against offenders or advise me of my rights under the law. I know some cops are nice and some are a*******, and being a visible minority doesn't exactly help. It's often hit and miss, even if you're white. But I wonder if her alleged complaint had the effect of prejudicing them against me.

Imagine my surprise when I saw her real estate agent business card in Ville St. Laurent in about 2009. I wanted to hold her accountable for her actions, but wasn't sure what legal recourse I had. Then I found this site. I've had bigger fish to fry, so I took my time filing this report.

Why should that lying w***e be allowed to get away with this? As a real estate agent, as a businessperson period, your word is your bond. While this doesn't exactly fall under the category of fraud, it does constitute slander and defamation. It tells me she'll screw over anyone if she feels like it and if she thinks she can get away with it. This sociopathic behavior has become all too common, witness the divorce industry enabled by no-fault divorce laws that allow a woman to unilaterally break a legally binding cointract (both the marriage and any pre-nup agreements) without penalty. Nice, huh?

While real estate transactions are covered by written contracts protecting all parties involved, I would still caution against trusting her. She's not one to be given the benefit of the doubt as to her trustworthiness, as she only keeps her word if there's a (metaphorical or literal) gun to her head.
