It appears this individual can't take the heat or fire of this Moissanite product, agreed it is made in laboratory as many gems are now a day. I own and sell many stones such as emeralds, rubies, diamonds etc. We have also purchased several pieces of Moissanite
. With the direction the diamond industry has been taking, many younger people just cannot afford the extreme mark up that diamond dealer attaches to their products. The brilliance of this product is unmatched even by diamonds.
The diamond indistry seems to be threatend by this product because it can be sold at great savings compared to higher grade diamonds, and in most cases looks much more brilliant than higher grade diamonds. Suck it up brother! you are looking at the future of the gem industry!

Moissanite is an amazing stone that is recreated from its natural meteorite that was discovered by Dr Moissan in the late 1800's. It took his company over 100 yrs before they could viably recreate this stone. He received a noble peace prize for his work on this stone. It is a beautiful stone that is a 9.25/10 on the mohs hardness scale, second only to diamonds which are a 10, and it's color is unsurpassed(2.4 times more color or fire than a diamond). Not only making this stone beautiful but also durable. And as for the metals sold with these stones they are set in platenieve, which is rhodium, and platinum over silver all precious metals.
