Let's cut to the chase.  This lender is NOT there to "help" anybody.  They are not his clergyman, mother, lawyer or financial advisor.  Someone else having a POA does NOT remove the oversight responsibilities of the account holder.  Either he or somebody else should have been checking to be sure things were done.  HOWEVER, the person with the POA has responsibility here.  You have the right and should go after that person.  Contact the Court and possibily an attorney.

 It IS all about money. How long would YOU expect THEM to wait for payment?? What it boils down to is that he had a loan and the person that HE TRUSTED screwed him over by NOT paying his bills. How is THAT any of thier responsability. THEY did not get paid, THEY repoed the vehicle. Pretty cut and dry to me. Its NOT a ripoff. It IS what happens when you dont pay your bills!!!! It amazes me how quickly YOU are using his "vet" status as some form of pity generator. This is BUSINESS. THIS is exactly what that person went into the service to protect, the great American Way. Stop trying to play the victim, the loan company is doing what is legal since he did not pay his bill. The person YOU should be reporting is the FEMALE who screwed him over while he was out to sea. THEY are the ones TOTALLY responsable for this situation and THEY are the ones who you should be going after to pay for this massive fine. But im guessing YOU weighed out the options and found that the loan company has deeper pockets. You shame yourself by blaming them because THEY are victims as well. THEY had a vehicle out for a few months with ZERO payment. Which means that THEY lost money. So before you continue on with your rant and bash campaign, the person responsable is the peson who held the power of attorney.
