Chase Card Services/ United Milage Plus Visa Card Chase Balance Transfer Rip-Off Scheme Palatine Illinois

I have done several balance transfers with my credit card company, Chase Bank in the past. All offers appear identical to the last offer, which is why I am filling this complaint. The balance transfer check they send with the monthly statement (are also posted on their website) appear identical at every offering. .99% fixed APR interest rate for a certain period of time. I paid off my current balance and wrote another seemingly identical check to the several I have used before, all of which has a 3% or max $75 transaction fee for using the check. I just discovered when my new statement arrived that they have just dropped the "$75 maximum" fine print statement from the offer, and had now charged me a whopping $992.86 (3%) for using the check. This was totally unexpected as it had always been $75 max in the past. I called and spoke with representatives and a supervisor, but was told in no uncertain terms that they would not reduce that fee. This is totally deceptive, (although I realize probably legal)as they know that vast majority of balance transfer users will think the offer is identical to the previous offers and fall into their trap. There is and was no warning of any kind of changes to their latest offer. This is totally wrong and I believe Chase should be investigated and charged with deceptive practices.
