I feel that I am being wrongfully threatened by Chase's collection agency FAM. First of all they don't even seem to be legit. You can't find their address or phone number in any phone books. Now they are stating to Chase that I am refusing to pay. I am not refusing, I can't pay. I am sure that many americans these days have hit financial hard times. But Financial Asset Management goes so far as to ask you where you are going to get money. Personally that is nobody's business. But they harass and are very very unprofessional.
I truthfully believe that anybody that has gotten into debt has intensions of paying it back. But unfortunately Chase is extremely guilty of helping people live beyond their means. Now that they are having hard times, they seem to take it out on the little guy. Never mind the millions they have loaned out to the wealthy and that is being defaulted on. Somehow, they seem to be robbing from the poor and giving to the rich. What I owe to Chase is nothing compared to others. But now Financial Asset Mgt stated that I need a lawyer. Which I believe is just scare tactics. But talk about a very unprofessional. The woman Heather is very angry and very very unprofessional. I often wonder what has happened in her life to make her angry and bitter. Maybe she needs another profession. I also think Chase should look into who they do business with, it just makes them look worse than how they already appear.

Common Sense Logic

Dear Me:
I'm here to give some assistance. I am a third party because I'm not you, nor am I chase or the collection agency. I agree with you that it's not right to be rude on the phone. I feel for you and hope you get employment soon. However, it is not rude to expect you to pay money back nor ask you a date of payment. You said about other people not paying their bills or them being a big company. Actually it matters if people don't pay, it looks bad, plus expenses go up, too. You said they take advantage of people, you have to use your common sense. Just because someone allows you to use credit limit doesn't mean you need to max it all out. It's there for emergency purposes. I totally recommend you to attend a credit counseling class so you can manage your credit and budget responsibly.
In summary, I would recommend paying the bill, even if it's little payments. You said you would pay back money you spent, so now is the time to do so. If you think the collection agency is rude then contact Chase, but just keep in mind either way the account should be getting payments on it.
