Chase Home Finance - Chase Manhattan Mortgage Chase Manhattan Mortgage Chase turned around and sold to the same people we had gotten an offer for and gave us a Foreclousure. This account is still showing open on my Credit after 1 year. Plus 120days late every month. Columbus, Ohio

After having a baby switching to day shift and losing 10% of pay we faced a foreclousure we knew there was no way out so we move out and began to try to sell. Towards the end we droped the price and recieved and offer. Chace said this was too low and too late to work with us. 4 days later Chase accepted an offer from the same people tried selling to for only 10K more. THey basically countered these people and then sold. The problem is, not only do they call this a Foreclousure verses a Short Sale. They still will not remove this off my credit report after 1 full year. I have tried disputing online and mailing to the credit bureau. Stiil says open and I occur 120days lates ever month. I call chance and get redirected for hours. No body can direct me to someone that can help. I feel sorry for the call centers all these departments. They cant help and the communciation between these departments is zip. I have no idea how Chase can manage anything the way they do business. Get this- I get notices for lack of hazard insurance on the house I have not owned for a year. I call the Insurance department. I tell them about the sistuation and all that I have done to try and close this account. They tell me that I have to figure out how to get this account closed before they can stop persuing me for payment in insurance. This company has caused our family much distress. We can not rebuild we can not start over and there is absolutely no way of communicating this with them.

What I learned about Chase is. If you ever find yourself in trouble no matter what you try and do they will make it ten times harder on you.  And they will not let you go!
