Direct TV advertises that local network stations are available everywhere.Direct TV moved service from Stephenville, TX where local net work was first received to the present location 1505 S. Rodgers Graham,TX. For the first three months, Dec, Jan, March, local Dallas- Ft Worth network stations were received in Graham, then when address change was made to Graham, TX these were eliminated. In Graham it was a struggle to get East and West Coast Network and then after several calls and complaints only ABC, NBC and Fox is received. Direct TV reps claimed that a waiver would be required to receive the local networks and for abt three months after contacts continually no local networks are still not received, nor is the CBS E or West coast TV received. In each telephone call information from Direct TV advised that local net works would be given, but after three months of continous calls, still NONE. Also, when the change of service location was made, free HBO and movie channels was to be added for three months. They were added, but the statement was increased for the cost of the free movie channels....

After several telephone calls and hassels, it appears an adjustment has been made in the bill. It was a horrendous task in attempting to get this corrected. Essentially local Net Work TV is urgent because our location is 90 miles from the National Weather Service, the source of Storm info for our area. It appears that deprivation of Local TV Network service that IS available for security purposes could result in serious hazards and damage from storms. Assistance is needed at once.
