Chase Credit Protector - Chase Payment Protector Plan Charged my accout without proper authorization ripoff Atlanta Georgia

I enrolled into Chase electronic Bill Pay and noticed that my account was being charged monthly by Payment Protector. The account has been closed for about a year.

I called to ask someone about the charges. They did an investigation and faxed a copy of one of the credit card statements where they asked for a signature to start Payment Protector. My mom's signature was on the statement. I asked a supervisor at Chase what access did my mom have on the account. They said that she was an authorized user only and could not make any decisions on the account unless they verified it through me. I was told that she is not a liable party and could not authorize the payment protector.

I was told by a Supervisor that I am the only Liable party on the account authorized to make any changes or add services. I am aware of this because my wife has me as a user on one of her accounts and they will not even tell me certain information without speaking to her first. I was told by one of the customer service members from payment protector to write to their dispute office. It has been about a month and they have not responded.

I recently called in to speak with a supervisor at payment protector and they refused to speak to me. I just want all charges from payment protector credited back to my account. I am not asking for a check or anything. I am not blaming my mother for this. She did not understand what she was doing and also was not authorized to make additions to the account.

They should have seen that her name was not on the account and contacted me for verification. That is common sense business approach.
